Built by students who were tired of cramming.
A few high schoolers across the country used AI to take control of their studying. Then they met at LaunchX and built the study companion they wished they had.
The problem we lived
AP classes, clubs, sports, jobs — and tests every week. Cramming the night before was the norm. We tried AI chat tools for help, but the answers wandered off-topic, gave wrong information, or took forever to sift through. We needed something that is highly personalized for us.
What changed
We started building our own system: input a test date and the units it covers, get a focused plan. Miss a practice question, get a flashcard for that exact concept. Stuck on a topic, ask an AI companion that refuses to go off-topic. Grades went up, stress went down, and we started sleeping before big tests.
How FlowLearning was born
We met at a summer entrepreneurship program called LaunchX. Coming from different states and different study habits, we realized every student we knew had the same problem: not enough time, too much material, and no study tool that felt like it was made for a real high school schedule.
So we decided to build the study companion we wished we had — one that plans around your real weekly hours, scopes practice to the topics your next test actually covers, and keeps the AI strictly on academic ground.
The mission
Studying smarter should be easier than studying longer. FlowLearning is built around a simple idea: give students a clear plan, focused practice, and instant help — so they can do their best without burning out.
